# Create a workspace (/docs/getting-started/sign-up)

1. Open [gridrouter.io/sign-up](https://gridrouter.io/sign-up) and enter your name, work email and a
password: 12 to 128 characters, with at least one letter and one number, and not containing the
part of your email before the `@`.
2. Open the verification link we email you. It is valid for 24 hours and signs you in.
3. You land in a personal workspace. Its owner is you, and it is on the Free plan.

Every workspace is on **Free** at launch, and calls run on your own vendor keys. See
[plans](/docs/concepts/plans) for what Free includes.

## Invite your team [#invite-your-team]

Settings → **Members** invites people by email. An invitation is valid for 7 days and the invitee
verifies their email before joining. Each member has one role:

| Scope | Owner | Admin | Developer | Billing | Viewer |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `catalog:read` | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| `balance:read` | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| `logs:read` | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| `billing:write` | Yes | Yes | | Yes | |
| `keys:write` | Yes | Yes | Yes | | |
| `agents:write` | Yes | Yes | | | |
| `credentials:write` | Yes | Yes | Yes | | |
| `presets:write` | Yes | Yes | Yes | | |
| `pipelines:read` | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| `pipelines:write` | Yes | Yes | Yes | | |
| `cache:write` | Yes | Yes | Yes | | |

Roles decide what a person can do in the dashboard. Dashboard sessions never make billable calls
themselves; they create the [API keys](/docs/getting-started/api-keys) that do.
